Aloha! Welcome to our web site. Our home in Maui, Haiku Palms, was the vision of my semi-retired Dentist and Botanist husband, Jerry. He loves Palm Trees of which we have over 250 different species, plus many other unusual, exotic, and rare plants and  trees. We maintain well groomed trails on the grounds with placards describing the various names of the plants.

When not working on the property you can find him on the top of any of the various mountain peaks here in Maui with a machete creating a path to the top!  He is an avid wind surfer and continues to race in the Maui Race Series each year. If the wind is good that’s usually where you’ll find him! He also enjoys his bike, yoga, and walks around our block. Yet something about sunset walks with our two cats, Nalu and Meli, around the property seem to be the highlight of each day! He also serves on two nonprofit boards and community service.  My life is fairly similar, just the name has been changed! Hi! I’m Robin.

I like Jerry am a native Southern Californian. I came to Hawaii to wind surf. A natural transition after snow skiing from an early age. Though I loved nature, I don’t have the green thumb like Jerry. I am a retired Major Account Executive with an advertising background.  Like Jerry I love to hike, bike, walk, practice yoga, and actually found myself Maui County Woman’s Masters Windsurf Champion. I’m also in community service.  I help in the garden, but spend a lot of my time doing errands, house cleaning, preparing meals, or as I call it “playing Susie Homemaker”!  I love listening to music and dancing, so if you see me cleaning and dancing away don’t be too surprised!
